Breathitt County 1939, Kentucky - Colored by me


In Breathitt County 1939, Kentucky. The school year begins in July and ends in January as most of the children have no shoes and insufficient clothing to walk the long distances over bad road.

    really liked the first version of the pic, no shoes and no clothes to walk to school and still childen made it to school , thats great
