Coaches for London 2012!
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., July 18, 2012 – John Geddert of Grand Ledge, Mich./Gedderts' Twistars USA, was named the head coach for women's gymnastics at the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Jenny Zhang of Gardena, Calif./Gym-Max, was selected to serve as the assistant coach. Geddert and Zhang will be on the competition floor during the qualification round and the team finals at the 2012 Olympic Games, July 27-August 12, in London.

Geddert is the personal coach for 2011 World all-around champion Jordyn Wieber, and Zhang is the personal coach for Kyla Ross, who tied for first on the uneven bars and third on the balance beam at the U.S. Olympic Trials – Gymnastics.
The women who advance to the all-around and individual event finals will have their personal coaches with them on the floor for those sessions. In addition to Geddert and Zhang, the other personal coaches are: Liang Chow, personal coach of Gabby Douglas of Virginia Beach, Va./Chow's Gymnastics and Dance Institute; Artur Akopyan, personal coach of McKayla Maroney of Long Beach, Calif./All-Olympia Gymnastics; and Mihai Brestyan, personal coach of Aly Raisman of Needham, Mass./Brestyan's American Gymnastics.
